Present Tense Exercise
Hai sahabat English-Sinau, apa kabarnya hari ini? Kali
ini kita akan mengerjakan latihan “Present Tense”. Ingat! Kerjakan latihannya terlebih dahulu ya sebelum
lihat pembahasan! Selamat berlatih di English-Sinau, Tempat Belajar Bahasa
Inggris yang Asyik dan Keterkinian!
Gunakan
tenses simple present atau present continuous pada kalimat di bawah ini!!
1. I cannot afford that right. It (costs/ is costing) too
much.
2. I (don’t own/ am not owning) an umbrella. I (wear/ am
wearing) a waterproof hat on rainy days.
3. As a rule, I (sleep / am sleeping) until 6 o’clock in
the morning, then I (get/ am am getting) up and (study/ studying) for my
classes.
4. Shhh. Grandpa (take/ is taking) a nap in the living
room. We (are not wanting/ don’t want) to wake him up. He (is needing/ need)
his rest.
Gunakan
Present Perfect atau Present Perfect Continuous pada kalimat di bawah ini!
1. It (has been snowing/ has snowed) all day. I wonder
when it will stop.
2. We (have had/ have been having) three major snowstorms
so far this winter. I wonder how many more we will have.
3. It’s ten P.M. I (have studied/ have been studying) for
two hours and probably won’t finish until midnight.
4. The telephone (has rung/ has been ringing) four times
in the last hour, and each time it has been for my office mate.
